## Common questions

**Can the phone assistant say what an oil change costs?** Yes. It quotes the prices you have set on the service. For repairs whose scope only becomes clear at the car, it hands the call over to you instead of guessing a figure.

**How do I stop a major service being booked into half an hour?** Every job carries its own duration. A three-hour service only appears where three hours are free. Gaps that are too short never show up as availability.

**What do I do when tyre season is fully booked?** The phone assistant can offer a waiting list instead of turning callers away. When a slot opens up, you already have the names.

**Can customers ask for a particular mechanic?** Yes. Every member of staff has their own calendar and their own hours. Customers choose who they want when they book, and the phone assistant remembers the request too. Staff numbers are unlimited in every plan.

**Can I take payment up front when I don't know the final bill yet?** Prepayment is set per service. On fixed prices such as an air-con service or a wheel change you take the full amount or a deposit; on open-ended repairs you simply leave it off. Payments run through Stripe.

**Do my customers need an app or an account?** No. They open your link, pick a job and a time and enter their name and mobile number. That's it.
