## Common questions

**What does the phone assistant do with a patient in pain?** It does not advise and it does not treat. If a call sounds like acute pain, it stops normal booking and puts the caller through to the practice at once, or takes name, number and complaint as an urgent callback at the top of the list, whichever you have set. It never answers medical questions.

**Where is my patients' data stored?** On servers in the EU. terminio.ai stores name, mobile number and appointment, no findings, no X-rays, no records. Data processing agreement included.

**Does terminio.ai replace my dental practice software?** No. Billing, notes and patient records stay in your practice software. terminio.ai handles appointments, reminders and the phone, and runs alongside it, like a second screen at reception.

**Can hygiene visits be booked separately from the dentist?** Yes. Every practitioner has their own calendar with their own hours, the hygienist too. You put cleanings on her and check-ups on the dentists. Patients only see slots that are really free with the right person.

**Do hygiene recalls work through terminio?** Yes. When the next cleaning or check-up is due, the recall goes out as a WhatsApp, in your words, from your number, with your booking link. The patient books directly, without a call to reception.

**Do my patients need an app or an account?** No. They open your link, pick a service and a time and enter their name and mobile number. The booking page asks for nothing else.

**Does every WhatsApp reminder cost extra?** No. The Free plan includes five reminders a month, from Pro they are unlimited. There is no cost per message.
