If a call sounds urgent, it stops booking and puts the caller through to the practice straight away or gives the emergency number, whichever you have set. It never answers medical questions; it takes them down as a message for you. **Where is my patients' data stored?** Appointment data sits on servers in the EU (Frankfurt): name, mobile number and appointment, no diagnoses, no results, no records. For the phone assistant, ElevenLabs (USA) processes the calls under standard contractual clauses. Data processing agreement included. **Does terminio.ai replace my practice management software?** No. Billing, notes and patient records stay in your PMS. terminio.ai handles appointments, reminders and the phone, and runs alongside it, like a second screen at the front desk. **Can the assistant issue or renew prescriptions?** No. It takes the request down as a message, with name, medication and a number to call back, and you see it in the app. Whether a prescription is issued is still the doctor's decision. **Can patients choose their doctor?** Yes.
