## Common questions

**Lots of our customers just walk in. Does that work with fixed appointments?** Yes. Anyone who only wants to browse frames or have a screw tightened still comes in without an appointment. You give fixed slots only to what occupies the refraction room or the hearing booth: eye tests, lens fittings, hearing tests. Walk-ins and appointments run side by side.

**Can we remind customers about their check-up after a year?** Through the recall. When the lens follow-up or the annual hearing-aid check is due, a WhatsApp goes out, from your number, with your booking link. The customer taps once and has the appointment, without anyone at reception ringing round or writing cards.

**Can customers book a particular optician?** Yes. Every colleague has their own calendar and their own hours, the hearing care specialist too. Customers choose who they want when they book, and the phone assistant remembers the request as well.

**Is a deposit usual at an optician's?** That's your call, per service. For a short eye test most leave it out. For an hour-long lens fitting that otherwise gets missed more often, a small deposit is fair protection.

**We already have practice software for prescriptions and stock. Do they work together?** terminio.ai handles appointments, reminders and the phone, not prescription records, lens orders or the till. The two run side by side; prescriptions and orders stay where they are today.

**Many of our customers are older and don't have a smartphone.** That's exactly what the phone assistant is for. Whoever prefers to ring, rings, around the clock, and gets their appointment without an app and without a link. And whoever comes to collect a pair of glasses gets the reminder the way it suits them: by WhatsApp or a call from you.

**Does every WhatsApp reminder cost extra?** No. The Free plan includes five reminders a month, from Pro they are unlimited. There is no cost per message.
