Does the client have to describe their matter when booking online?

No. They pick a service, say an initial consultation or a contract review, the adviser and a free time, and give a name and mobile number. No account, no app, no facts of the case in a text box. Whatever belongs to the matter, you discuss at the meeting.

Can I ask for the fee up front with online booking for law firms?

Yes. For fixed-fee services you decide whether it's paid in advance, in part or not at all. The client pays when booking, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, secure through Stripe. For a long-standing client's annual accounts meeting you set nothing and invoice as usual.

Can clients book a particular adviser online?
